Food Pantry and Personal Care Item Pantry
We have three pantries each month: 2 Food Pantries and 1 Personal Care Item (PCI) Pantry:
PCI Pantry is open the 1st Tuesday of every month, from 9am-11am. Please note that the PCI Pantry only serves residents of the five public housing neighborhoods to the west of MC3: Rabbi Shulman, Monroe Circle, “The Quads”, Wescott Tower, and Laurel Court. At this pantry, neighbors can receive personal care items to help offset potential financial challenges each month. Items may vary, but usually include things such as: laundry soap, shampoo, razors, feminine hygiene products, and toilet paper.
Food Pantry is open the 2nd Saturday and 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 9am-11am. Please note that the Food Pantry only serves residents within the 46601 zip code. At this pantry, neighbors can receive a portion of fresh and frozen foods to help offset potential financial challenges each month. We also host a local partner that provides fresh produce at a discounted rate for neighbors to purchase with their SNAP cards.
Neighbors are encouraged to enjoy the café atmosphere where they can connect with friends, pray with people who care, be served by pleasant volunteers, and receive food. Volunteers are encouraged to take part in this highly-relational ministry. Opportunities include preparing and serving food and drinks in the café, delivering food to shut-ins within the community, and praying with guests.
